This Privacy Statement describes our privacy policies and procedures for information provided to us by consumers who visit our Web site, maxplusfinancing.com, obtain or seek to obtain financial products or services from Max Plus Financing. While we realize that we do offer some services to businesses (i.e. Commercial Vehicles, etc), this Privacy Statement does not apply to those services that are not for individual, household, or family use. In addition, all financial products and services offered by Max Plus Financing or our business partners are intended for US Residents over 18 years of age.

How does Max Plus Financing collect and use my information?

Max Plus Financing may collect and use your personal information to respond to your requests for our financial products and services or to provide you with information about products or services that may be of value to you.

Certain personal information Max Plus Financing collects about you may be publicly available via government records, telephone books, and other widely available media (i.e. the Internet), However, we treat all information you provide to us as non-public.

We collect information which you provide to us when you use our loan application tools (including email address, loan amount, interest rate, payment terms), to apply for an  auto loan (including name, address, social security number, assets/liabilities, property location and value, realtor/relocation agent) or contact us with a financial or loan related  question.

We may also collect information from a consumer reporting agency, such as information regarding your creditworthiness or credit history.

Information from outside sources regarding their employment, bank account or other relationship with you or verifying representations made by you, such as your employment history and loan or credit card balances.

While we usually notify you at the point of collection (via the online form) about which information fields are mandatory to provide you with the financial service or product requested, we do allow you to submit your loan application without providing all required  information to fund a loan. However, if you will be required to give us any missing information as required by our lenders, investors, and government guarantors in order for us to process and fund your loan, you will be notified. While certain information may be optional, we believe that by providing us with such information we will be better able to serve you.

Does Max Plus Financing share my personal information with third parties?

Disclosing information to third parties related to the transaction: When you apply for an auto loan it will be necessary for Max Plus Financing to share your personal information collected from you on the loan application with companies who provide us with services necessary to process and fund your loan. These companies may include financial service providers such as credit agencies, title and settlement companies, appraisal companies, and insurance companies; and non-financial companies such as scanning services and application service providers.   Your information is not sold or shared with any third party companies where it is not absolutely necessary to conduct the transaction you have inquired about via this web site.

Access to your personal information by Max Plus Financing employees and other authorized parties is provided on a "need to know" basis.   Only those who are directly involved with your transaction have access to your information.
